It’s All About Books!
It’s winter: time to cozy in, pour a cup, and snuggle in with a good book. This issue of The Sound Journal should give you some ideas…
We have been gifted with a remarkable article by Sufi scholar, educator and Ruhaniat mureed, Talat Halman. He has spent years researching the Green Man in European as well as Middle Eastern stories and culture. The excerpt here on the Green Man is derived from a body of work on al-Khidr to be published by the publisher Fons Vitae.
This issue also includes several book reviews — a leafy mix dressed in tasty word delights. Finally, a novel dessert, for the reader’s sweet tooth.
